Welcome to Mentraly (“we,” “our,” or “the App”).
We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about how we handle your data.
This Privacy Policy applies to the beta version of Mentraly available on the App Store.

1. Scope and Purpose

Mentraly is a study assistant designed to help users plan, focus, and evaluate their learning progress.
In this beta version, users can:

• Enter a subject, subtopics, and bibliography or notes.

• Configure the number and duration of study sessions.

• Use a focus timer to guide each session.

• Take a quiz automatically generated from the text they entered, to review their understanding.

The app is intended for personal and educational use only.

2. Information We Collect

The beta version of Mentraly does not require login or registration and does not collect or store personal data such as name, email, address, or payment information.

The app only processes the following non-personal, temporary data:

• Study input text (subject, subtopics, bibliography): entered manually by the user and stored locally on the device while using the app.

• Session configuration (number and duration of sessions).

• Quiz answers and results, generated automatically and stored locally to display results.

This information is not transmitted, not shared, and not uploaded to external servers.

3. Data Storage and Processing

All user data is processed locally on the device.
Mentraly does not connect to remote databases, does not collect analytics, and does not use tracking or advertising technologies.
When you close or uninstall the app, all study data and results are automatically deleted.

4. Use by Minors

Mentraly is suitable for users aged 13 and older.
For users between 13 and 17, parental or guardian supervision is recommended.
The app does not display advertising or collect sensitive information about minors.

5. Security

Mentraly runs entirely offline during its beta version.
No personal data leaves your device.
If you contact our support team by email, your message will be handled confidentially and used only to respond to your inquiry.

6. Third-Party Services

The beta version does not use analytics platforms, SDKs, or third-party tracking tools.
In future versions, Mentraly may integrate anonymized analytics (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics) solely to detect bugs or improve performance.
If this occurs, the Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

7. User Rights

Since Mentraly does not collect or store identifiable information, no user action is required to manage or delete data.
Uninstalling the app automatically removes all locally stored study material and results.
